The is WSC following the work and comments of the World Health Organisation closely and well keep you up to date about issues that we feel is relevant and could have an effect on Children and Young people around the world.

| International Affairs |
|
As an organisation the WSC works with organisations and people from around the world, it is therefore vital that our members keep abreast with current affairs and that they fully understand the situation.
The WSC has just made a new connection with Nepal. Golden Gate Secondary English High School in Bhaktapur, Nepal. We are very excited by this new connection and we hope that we can make links which will stand the test of time.

| Environment |
|
Because young people are the future of this planet, we need to work to protect our future. We need to be the ones who move technology along and who change the way we think & our attitudes towards throwing rubbish away.
Children in a primary school in Colombia have been using recycled plastic bottles filled with sweet wrappers to make buildings! By stacking them up and pouring on cement they act as bricks and make a very sturdy wall that will stand the test of time and help to save the environment. Well done to the Children of Colombia!
